Meet the Group

Josh Trumm
Josh is honored to be a part of Vox Deco, holding it down on the low Bass and occasional vocal percussion parts, as well as being the primary music arranger of the group. He has been involved in vocal music from a very young age on the professional/national level, from singing in select/honors choirs in school to being involved in a national children’s choir singing at what is now the TD Garden in Boston. He has had the opportunity to learn from a bunch of amazing teachers all his life, from mentors in high school to college conductors to vocal music juggernauts such as Bobby McFerrin and Tim Foust. Josh has been arranging a cappella music since high school when he hand wrote an arrangement for a Coldplay song over a semester of pre-calculus classes. He went on to study psychology, music, and theatre at Clark University (Worcester, MA), where he was the musical director and primary arranger of the Clark Bars, the university’s premier co-ed a cappella group. During his time in Vox Deco, Josh has continued to contribute his vocal arrangements to the group’s repertoire, and has been heavily involved in the process of recording our latest album.
Born in Boston, raised in Ohio, Josh blends healthy doses of midwestern chillness and New England’s quick biting wit and scrappy resilience (that some might call stubbornness) with a constant drive to learn and be better at our craft every day. He was steeped in an eclectic mix of music all his life, listening to everything; A Cappella, Punk Rock, Folk, Bluegrass, psychedelic, Hip Hop, Blues, Metal, ancient Viking chants, EDM, protest songs, jam bands, funk, R&B, psychobilly, and everything in between. In addition to being a vocal artist, Josh also plays guitar and piano, dabbles in multiple other fretted stringed instruments, and is quickly becoming proficient in the recording studio as well. When he is not singing or arranging music for Vox Deco or selling audio gear as a Sales Engineer at Sweetwater, Josh loves indulging in his other hobbies, such as cooking, martial arts (specifically Japanese swordsmanship), basketball (go Celtics!), movies/video games, being the best cat dad that he can be, and making Megan laugh.

Bryan Gittins
Members of Vox Deco all sincerely look up to Bryan, our 6'3" Beatboxer and Bass. Bryan is a teacher, a father, keyboardist, and trumpeter. He graduated in 2023 with a degree in Choral Music Education from BYU. Currently teaches vocals and keyboard out of his home in Fort Wayne. A family man to the core, Bryan married the most beautiful woman in the world, Emily, and they've got one child with another on the way. He's also the 9th of 12 children so he knows how to stand out in a crowd without aspiring to the level of posterity as his parents (love you mom and dad). By day he works for Sweetwater as a Sales Engineer; by night he seeks to watch every Anime and read every comic book. His book recommendation of the week is "Amulet" by Kazu Kibuishi.

Benji Wittman
Benji Wittman is Vox Deco’s baritone, known for singing the occasional solo, living comfortably in fifths, and generally occupying the part of the chord that makes everything feel solid. He joined the group in 2023, back when it was still called Smooth Edge 2, and spends a fair amount of time consulting on long-term planning and recording projects—including mastering the group’s most recent album.
Beginning his musical journey in elementary school, Benji holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music (jazz voice and music technology) and a Master’s degree in Business (MBA). His background spans jazz, classical, and contemporary styles, with a cappella influences including Pentatonix, Take 6, The Manhattan Transfer, and Voces8, plus an enduring love of ’90s alternative rock. Before Vox Deco, he performed in collegiate jazz a cappella groups Windjammer and Orange Syndicate and toured with the Syracuse University Singers across Mexico and the U.S. When he’s not singing, Benji is a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, and training professional who has taught music, audio, and experiential education at both the high school and college level—because apparently one discipline was never enough.

Greg O’Keefe
This is Greg — He is in Vox Deco.
-
Jeff Barnett
Jeff Barnett is our resident 2nd tenor and the group’s longest-tenured member—essentially the human historical archive, but with better pitch. He fell in love with a cappella music as a young kid, listening to groups like Take 6 and Rockappella. When he first heard Vox Deco (then Smooth Edge 2) in 2013, he tracked down the group’s founder and begged to let him audition.
A native Texan who studied music education at Baylor University, he’s the only singer to appear on all five of our albums to date. He’s usually the one behind the scenes recording, producing, and generally making us sound better than we deserve. When he’s not teaching audio engineering or working as a senior sales engineer at Sweetwater, he’s raising six kids with his wife, fueled almost entirely by Dr Pepper and Blue Bell Ice Cream. Legend has it the group’s sound—and its hard drive—would be lost without him.

Lexie Signor
Dr. Lexie Signor, while not a vocalist by trade, has been a member of Vox Deco for three years and is the harmonically adept singer of the odd notes out also known as the alto and contralto lines. By day, she specializes in playing mostly high notes- she’s a commercial lead trumpeter with a doctorate in Brass Performance from Indiana University. By night, she plies her hand at singing below the staff utilizing the vocal skills she learned fronting event and wedding bands since the early 2000’s.
Dr. Signor also serves as one of the arrangers for Vox Deco. Her background in composition and arranging began at Northern Michigan University writing for the “Pride of the North” Wildcat Marching band and continued through her masters degrees she earned at the University of Missouri in Jazz Performance and Pedagogy and Trumpet Performance when she debuted her first original composition “At Dawn of Day” which can be heard on YouTube.
Lexie is considerably skilled at social media and marketing, having been early to TikTok and remains active on Instagram Reels promoting Vox Deco, herself, and other ensembles with whom she performs regularly throughout the year. In addition, she maintains an active teaching schedule as a clinician for small and large jazz ensembles, trumpet studios, and continues to share her considerable music industry knowledge via her podcast “The Rogue Academic” which can be found on any and all streaming services.
Dr. Lexie Signor is a proud member of AFM Local 3 of Indianapolis, is endorsed by Marcinkewicz Mouthpieces, a proud player of S.E. Shires Trumpets, and an endorsee of Pinnacle Microphones. -
Megan Browning
Megan Browning is a soprano with a love for blending rich harmonies and telling stories through music. A graduate of Anderson University with a bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance, she has performed with both local and nationally known artists and appeared in productions at First Presbyterian Theatre and Fort Wayne Civic Theatre. Megan is also a sought-after guest soloist for church and charity events across the Fort Wayne area, including Mad Anthony’s Celebrity Red Coat Dinners, the Fort Wayne Women’s Prayer Breakfast, First Presbyterian Theatre’s 2016 Benefit Dinner, the SHIFT Missionary Church Conference, and the Vera Bradley Foundation’s Tickled Pink event.
When she’s not singing high notes, Megan can usually be found reading a good book, attending concerts, or spending quality time with her family—especially her adorable nephews, Henry and Frankie, who are easily her biggest fans.

Annalie Orman
Annalie Orman is one of the newest members of Vox Deco. She joined in the fall of 2025 as a mezzo-soprano. Music has been a big part of her life; she started piano lessons in early elementary school and participated in choir and band throughout high school. During college she attended Purdue Fort Wayne studying engineering before moving to Red Wing, Minnesota to study Band Instrument Repair. She now works at Sweetwater in the Merchandising Department. In her spare time she volunteers on the worship team at Covenant United Methodist Church and spends time with her husband and 3 cats.

Gracie Wahl
Gracie Wahl is very proud to say that she is one of the newest members of Vox Deco! Gracie is an alto/mezzo-soprano in the group. Her acapella journey started in 7th grade, when her and her friends performed in a talent show. Gracie continued acapella into and through high school, where she was the vocal percussionist for the all-female group Bella Voce. She continued her music journey through musical theater and dance, but her real passion is percussion and drumming. She graduated in 2025 from SUNY Potsdam Crane School of Music with a bachelor's in music business and a concentration in percussion. She also spent three years performing with the Crane Latin Ensemble as a conga player, and had the opportunity to work with Latin music legends such as Mitch Frohman, Arturo O’Farrill, and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra.
Hailing from Rochester, New York, Gracie found herself in Fort Wayne as an intern at Sweetwater in summer of 2025, and she had so much fun that she decided to stick around for a while. She is a Sweetwater Academy Coordinator by day, and avid film watcher by night! She spends her days learning how to play bass guitar, playing with her kitten Pooh, and exploring the midwestern cities. She can’t wait to record, perform, and laugh with all these wonderful people in Vox Deco!
